Sultanate al Raks Sharki 2005 Chooses
Madrina as Winner of Competition
Tampa, FL- Madrina was announced winner of the 2005 Sultanate al Raks Sharki belly dance competition held June 26, 2005 in Orlando Florida.
Madrina has been performing Belly Dance for enjoyment of others for 10 years. Madrina currently dances in the Tampa Bay area at local restaurants and has been invited to perform in Belly Dance Shows across the State of Florida. She has also competed in National Belly Dance competitions. Madrina was first runner up in 2003 at the Medina Competition in St. Louis Missouri and was a finalist in the Belly Dance Superstar Auditions held in California.
Madrina is also the director and choreographer for the Sesen Middle Eastern Dance Company ("Sesen") located in Tampa, Florida. Sesen performs locally in the Tampa Bay area and has been invited to dance in Belly Dance shows in Miami, Florida and other surrounding areas.
Madrina also teaches Belly Dance classes at International Bazaar in Ybor City, Tampa and at Jete Elite Studio in Riverview throughout the week. Her class schedule and cost of classes can be found on her website or you can call her for more information.
