Veena & Neena Present Bellydance

One person’s donation is another person’s treasure. I saw that a dance studio moved to another location and a thrift shop moved into its place. I had some time to kill and dropped in and for seventy-five cents, I got this video in perfect shape! It was made in 2002, produced by Natural Journeys.
Veena and Neena do an aerobic slim, strengthen and tone routine that is quite a workout! The tape is about 30 minutes long, and the routine is almost that long. Using beginning belly dance movements, the Twins lead you through isolations, muscle strengthening and cardiovascular “dancing.” While you can use the movements in dance, it is really a workout and not a dance routine. It will build up your endurance to improve your dancing.
Filming and sound are good, the Twins are easy to follow and it lives up to it’s name of fitness the beginning belly dance way. They demonstrate the benefits of belly dancing side by side, which include toning and strengthening your body, and improving fitness, confidence and inner and outer beauty. I’d say I got a heckuva deal; now if I just incorporate it into my practice!
